Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Tiles Mason to join our team, responsible for precision cutting, shaping, and laying tiles to create visually appealing and durable designs for walls and floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tile Cutting and Shaping: Utilize hand and power cutting tools to cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles, odd spaces, and corners with precision.
  • Mosaic Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs for walls, murals, and floors, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Tile Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of tiled surfaces.
  • Adhesive Application: Mix, apply, and spread various adhesives such as plaster, concrete, mortar, mastic, or glue to create a sturdy base for tile installation using brushes, trowels, and screeds.
  • Grouting and Finishing: Finish and dress joints, and remove excess grout from between tiles using a damp sponge for a polished and clean final appearance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Tiles Mason or similar role, showcasing expertise in precision tile cutting, shaping, and installation.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power cutting tools for tile work.
  • Attention to detail in aligning and setting tiles to achieve desired designs.
  • Ability to apply adhesives accurately and finish joints for a clean and polished appearance.
